We are proud to announce our partnership with the Red Cross Upper Austria and thus our support for the 'Reading Coach' initiative, which was launched throughout Upper Austria in 2018.
THE 'Reading Coach' PROJECT: A HEARTFELT INITIATIVE TO OVERCOME EDUCATIONAL POVERTY
By launching the "Reading Coach" initiative, the Red Cross has committed itself to an important social task: combating educational poverty. Today, 27 Red Cross volunteers in the Braunau district read weekly with children and young people of compulsory school age. By teaching reading skills and fostering enthusiasm for reading, they create better opportunities in our knowledge society.
Together for better educational opportunities in the region
The high level of demand from elementary school and the obvious need for the project provide us with additional motivation. Our support enables the continuation and expansion of this important project and thus makes an important and far-reaching contribution to promoting the educational opportunities of our future generations.
